The Theatre Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted a hands-on workshop to prepare for the upcoming “Alice in Wonderland.”

Held in Room A543 and Spectrum Screening Room in Aditayathorn Building from March 3 to 28, 2025, the workshop aimed to provide participants with professional training in crucial aspects of stage production, including set construction, lighting design, and costume creation.

The sessions were carefully structured to offer a blend of theoretical instruction, practical workdays, and a final installation phase, allowing students to gain firsthand experience in the production process. These activities promoted collaboration and teamwork while ensuring that all elements of the production were seamlessly integrated. Although challenges such as delays in equipment arrival and varying levels of participant experience were encountered, these were effectively addressed through adjustments in the schedule and additional guidance for less experienced participants.

The workshop proved to be highly successful. Participants developed essential technical skills, enhanced their ability to work collaboratively, and gained valuable experience in managing production timelines. The final installation phase went smoothly, with all production elements coming together efficiently, ensuring that the team was well-prepared for the Alice in Wonderland show. This workshop not only enhanced the participants' technical abilities but also fostered a cooperative and production-ready atmosphere, essential for future theatrical endeavors.
