The Tourism and Hospitality Management Division (THM) hosted its annual Advisory Board Meeting on July 18, 2025 at Aditayathorn Building.

Presided by Dr. Veerades Panvisavas, Chair of the THM Division, the meeting brought together esteemed industry leaders from across the spectrum, including tourism authorities, hotel and resort businesses, airlines, event management associations, spa and wellness providers, and restaurant establishments.


The session served as a dynamic platform for discussion and collaboration, focusing on aligning academic programs with current industry demands. Valuable insights were shared across several key areas, including emerging industry trends, organizational challenges and talent needs, expectations for program development, opportunities for industry involvement and student support, as well as directions for research collaboration and academic partnerships.

 
These contributions are vital to the Division’s continued efforts in shaping forward-thinking curricula and experiential learning, ensuring graduates are not only industry-ready but also equipped to thrive in diverse professional settings. This strategic engagement reinforces the Division’s role as a bridge between academia and industry, fostering innovation and excellence in tourism and hospitality education.
