MUIC Class of 2011, Tourism and Hospitality Management
Studying in the Tourism and Hospitality Management program does not mean you cannot cross over to other segments or industries. I really believe the academic knowledge that MUIC has provided me has definitely enhanced my abilities to become who I am now. I'd like to mention here the incredible friendships and networks that I had built with my MUIC brothers and sisters. My time here has always been a precious moment in my life!

Senior Lecturer (Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore)
The Mahidol University International College Cultural Immersion (MUIC) programme is extremely well-run and was one of the best I ever had the pleasure to be part of in alley years as a lecturer. The learning stops are highlight relevant with well chosen industry partners and representatives fronting the cutting edge front of Thailand social-entrepreneurship. The social entrepreneurship partners were also well-chosen as they also represents frontrunners in their engagement within the green economy. The professional industry partners are also well-chosen because they are not limited to western medicine but included traditional medicine practitioners as well. If the programme is the “hardware”, then MUIC’s remarkable “software” must its amazing coordinating staff Ms Por and Bow with their AMAZING student leaders. They were the best cultural ambassadors for Thailand with their boundless energy and diligence in guiding my students. The programme however well-conceived would not have been as well received without these amazing student leaders who together with the itinerary formed the perfect “heartware” providing the best of engagement to my students!

Kunming Medical University Haiyuan College, China
Time flies. During these two weeks in MUIC, I got to know many new students and friends. It was a completely new experience for any of us: a new challenge, a new way of learning and even a new design process. It is a great honor for us to go to hospitals and patients' homes to understand the real needs of patients and see the real medical situation in Thailand. This process is very touching to us. Every student, every teacher and every staff member of MUIC made us feel very warm. Although the time is short, the emotion is long, and I have learned a lot from the communication with each teacher and classmate. I am grateful for this opportunity to come to MUIC and see a more colorful side of the world

Several years ago, when I was a student of Kyung Hee University, I participated in a winter study abroad program hosted by MUIC. The experience was highly enjoyable and worthwhile. We attended classes on hospitality and tourism along with cultural excursions. I still thank MUIC faculty and staff for their enthusiastic teaching and sincere hospitality that they showed to me and my fellow students. Thailand is an exciting country to stay in, and MUIC is an excellent university to study in. With these two combined, I cannot imagine any other place to do a study abroad program.

The study abroad program as a partnership between Marquette University and Mahidol University (MUIC) has been an amazing initiative with our students as the main focal point of this cultural and business focused trip. From our first step onto Thailand, we were greeted with smiles and all our needs were taken care of by MUIC staff and students. The cultural experience, information-filled formal lectures, phenomenal site tours, fun-filled activities, and exquisite cuisine were a great way to bring our students and faculty into a broader understanding of the Thai lifestyles. This was an amazing trip and a life-long memorable experience. Thank you MUIC for arranging everything and making sure we had a great time as we enjoyed the experience of a lifetime! Khob-khun !!

MUIC Class of 2008, Biological Science
Undergraduate education is an opportunity to acquire and develop important skills. MUIC offers various undergraduate programs spanning from Science to Business Administration, Tourism and Hospitality and more. This provides students with an opportunity to take free elective classes outside of their discipline as well as to exchange ideas with their peers from other majors. In today's world, where knowledge in one area is no longer sufficient, this is truly beneficial. MUIC also offers a wide variety of activities and clubs for students to join, something that each student should take advantage of. Lastly, the alumni network that MUIC provides is simply 'priceless.'
