Towards the end of the 1st Trimester, the AGC Club tried to lighten the mood of MUIC students by holding a comedy-themed comic drawing contest entitled “4-Koma Competition”on October 31 - November 29, 2022 on Instagram.

A 4-Koma, pronounced “Yonkoma,” is a Japanese comic strip format consisting of 4 vertical panels or 8 vertical panels arranged in 2 rows parallel to each other, known for its popular use in short format gag comics.

The activity focused on letting participants express their creativity without being limited by their art skills. There were 44 submissions from people of varying skills. Overall, the club said it received a lot of funny gags that made MUIC students laugh, relieving the stress of the forthcoming finals exam. The club added that it plans to hold more creative competitions to encourage more fun with out-of-the-box ideas.

The winners were: Mr. Plu Thanasarnchinda, Creative Technology (1st Place); Ms. Parinporn Chairattana-Apirom, Communication Design, (2nd Place); and Mr. Kansupanach Saengkaew, Intercultural Studies and Languages (3rd Place).
