Board Game Club Co-hosts Mahidol Board Game Fair 2024

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Board Game Club collaborated with the Mahidol University Library (หอสมุดและคลังความรู้มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล) in an activity called, “Mahidol Board Game Fair 2024,” a convention event that gathered together board game shops resulting in the estimated 600 participating students enjoying fun activities.

Held on January 22 - 23, 2024 at MU Co-working Space, several board game shops including Lan La Len, More Than a Game, Boss Lab, Siam Board Games, Legendary Wargame, Board Game Academy, The Stronghold, and New Game Entertainment put up stalls and introduced their services and products. They also gave the students the chance to try out their newest board games. Moreover, for this event, they also provided discounted prices especially for Mahidol University students.

There was also a special seminar given by the guest speaker, Mr. Wattachai Treedecha, President of the Thailand Board Game Association, who is also a social influencer, a Youtuber, and board game developer. He spoke on the topic, “Social Media Contents for Board Games Development.” The club expressed its gratitude to the sponsors and supporters and the participating students.
