The Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics (PC) welcomed Chiba University staff member, Mr. Takumi Kondo, who participated in the Chiba Staff Exchange Program from August 25 - September 12, 2025. The program aimed to foster cross-cultural collaboration and professional growth between the universities. It also provided a valuable professional opportunity for staff members to share their work experiences and best practices.

On September 4, Mr. Kondo took part in a series of activities at PC, including a meeting with the Assistant Director of PC, campus tours, and an introduction to PC’s work practices (covering PC’s overall structure, admissions, and international student services). He also shared his professional experiences at Chiba University with PC and MUIC staff as part of the exchange of operational knowledge and ideas.

The exchange not only benefited the Chiba University staff, but also provided PC staff and teachers with new insights and opportunities to share best professional practices across departments and countries. This program enhanced participants’ understanding of workflows and the roles of its units while strengthening the relationship and cooperation between the partner universities.
