From the powerful beats of hip-hop to the sharp, expressive movements of waacking, the Dance Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) set the campus in motion on Trimester 2 with a dynamic series of workshops. Held on select dates from January to March 2026 at MUIC Building 1, the sessions attracted 30 students eager to explore new styles and refine their skills.
The workshops offered a rich and diverse curriculum, covering contemporary genres including girl style, waacking, hip-hop, and heels. This variety provided a unique opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones and immerse themselves in different forms of dance culture. Conducted in a professionally guided yet highly supportive environment, the classes catered to all skill levels, from curious beginners taking their first steps to seasoned dancers looking to hone their technique.
Throughout the semester, the rooms of MUIC Building 1 buzzed with energy and enthusiasm. The club’s instructors fostered a positive and encouraging atmosphere where participants felt free to express themselves, experiment with movement, and build confidence.
The sustained engagement and positive feedback from the 30 participants underscored the event's success. The workshop series not only achieved its goal of enhancing technical skills but also reinforced the Dance Club’s commitment to fostering a vibrant, creative, and active student community at MUIC.
