Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Student Association (SMO) organized an event in time for the upcoming Cancer Day. The event entitled “Ditch the Cig” was held on February 1-2, 2023 at the Ground Floor, Aditayathorn Building.
Students participate in three activities: Trading their own cigarettes for the prizes that SMO provided, sticking post-it notes sharing their opinions regarding smoking, and limiting their oxygen intake and ride a bicycle to feel what people with lung cancer experience whenever they exercise. A total of 196 students participated in the event.
