Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Diving Club organized a Scuba Pool Session at BB Marine Boating and Scuba Diving, Bangkok on June 15, 2024.

During this session, 14 participating students had the opportunity to learn, practice, and be prepared with all the essential skills required for scuba diving using real scuba equipment in the pool. This hands-on experience was designed to be an eye-opener for those interested in the exciting sport of scuba diving.

Students were taught a core set of skills, including how to properly use the equipment, communicate underwater, and ensure their safety. They also learned important techniques for breathing, buoyancy control, and underwater navigation. This session also aimed to build confidence and competence, allowing students to practice these skills in a controlled and safe environment.

By the end of the session, students were better prepared for actual scuba diving in the future, equipped with the knowledge and experience needed to explore the underwater world. This activity not only introduced the basics of scuba diving but also instilled a sense of adventure and respect for the underwater environment.
