Diving Club’s most well-liked activity is back: “Theory Session.” The Diving Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) offered a scuba diving theory course on March 9 and 16, 2023 at Room 1315, MUIC Building 1.
The guest lecturer, Mr. Vorapat Pariyawong, taught the participants the fundamentals of scuba diving. The lessons covered all the essential theories that students need to know to be ready for the activity that follows, which is the “Pool Session.”
The 40 students who attended this session learned about the basic situations that all divers may encounter, such as how to manage their breathing and use their equipment. In addition, they were also taught how to handle a variety of emergencies that may arise underwater, such as how to share oxygen with a diving partner.
