Energy Saving Committee Holds MUIC Garbage Challenge Activity

To raise awareness on the serious problem of plastic waste, the Energy Saving Committee of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held the “MUIC Garbage Challenge Activity” on March 16, 2023 at the Seminar Room.

Dr. Laddawan Jianvittayakit, Associate Dean for Environment and Sustainable Development and also the President of the MUIC Energy Saving Committee, gave the opening remarks at the ceremony.

Ms. Chudamas Charoenporn, Project Coordinator of CirPlas Co., Ltd. gave a speech about management and reuse of plastic waste.

The activity aimed to share information about plastic waste and encourage staff members to practice plastic waste segregation. The activity also promoted engagement among MUIC staff members and make them more aware of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Before the activity ended, there was a quiz competition about plastic waste management.
