Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Dance Club organized a series of open classes that introduced basic dance steps to interested students on October 8 and 15, and November 5 and 13, 2024 at Room 3407, MUIC Building 1.

The Club offered four classes in basic contemporary dance, hip-hop, and fundamental dance skills, providing participants with an opportunity to explore different dance genres in an inclusive and supportive environment.

These classes were made accessible to all the 44 participating students, regardless of their prior experience or skill levels. Dance Club members facilitated the sessions, focusing on fostering a fun, welcoming atmosphere where students could enjoy music and dance without pressure.

Beyond teaching technical skills, the Dance Club emphasized the importance of cultivating a love for dance while encouraging students to build new friendships with peers who have similar interests. Club officials said they hope that participants will not only develop an appreciation for dance but also gain confidence and a sense of community through these interactive classes.

The Dance Club said it will remain committed to promoting creative expression and inclusivity on campus and looks forward to welcoming more students to future events.
