Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Genscape Club, in collaboration with several student clubs including Art Club, Film Club, and Nature Lovers Club, held an exhibition entitled “Blossom Beyond Boundaries” at the Reception Hall, Aditayathorn Building, on June 10-12, 2024 in order to promote diversity and inclusiveness for all.

The exhibition, attended by 317 students, was part of the “Pride Youth Leader” project of Mindventure, United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the MUIC clubs. It was divided into two sides, the first one consisted of posters concerning issues in gender diversity acceptance, as well as voting panels for the participants to express their view towards current LGBTQIANS+ issues.

The other side consisted of a mirror, a postcard hanging area, and a very big canvas. The mirror was for participants to reflect on their own beauty, which the organizers believe is not fixed to any socially constructed standard. For the postcard hanging area, the club provided postcards for participants to write on and hang on the bar, then take the other one back. For the canvas, the participants were given the opportunity to express their artistic skills, creativity and positivity by drawing flowers and other beautiful art pieces on the canvas.

It turned out that many participants liked the canvas so much to the point that a new one had to be installed.
