Irish Film Screening and Workshop Held at MUIC

As part of a new initiative of academic and cultural exchange with Ireland at Mahidol University International College (MUIC), the Fine and Applied Arts Division and Film Arts minor, along with the International Affairs Office, recently hosted a film screening and workshop by Irish screenwriter and filmmaker, Éamon Little.

The award-winning film, “That They May Face the Rising Sun,” shot in picturesque rural Ireland, was enjoyed by MUIC students and faculty members. Afterwards, Éamon Little discussed his process of developing the script based on an Irish novel.  

Asst. Prof. Dale Alan Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs, presided over the event, held on June 6, 2024 at the Spectrum Screening Space. Guests from the Embassy of Ireland also attended the event.
