Mahidol University International College (MUIC) co-hosted on August 25-27, 2022 the 4th International Conference on Tourism and Business (ICTB 2022) in Lucerne, Switzerland together with the Lucerne School of Business, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU) which is the main conference host, and Edinburgh Napier University.

At the welcoming and opening ceremony, Asst. Prof. Dr. Alexander Nanni, Interim Associate Dean for International Affairs, MUIC, opened the conference together with Prof. Dr. Jürg Stettler (HSLU) and Dr. Louise Todd (Edinburgh Napier University).

The conference had the theme of "From Over-Tourism to Zero-Tourism: Opportunities for a New Beginning?” and welcomed around 80 attendees from 19 different countries, along with well-known keynote speakers from the United States, Scotland, Sweden, and Israel.

Thanks to the interesting conference theme and diverse attendees' backgrounds, ICTB 2022 provided a great arena for international academia and practitioners being active in tourism and business fields to present their research and projects, update their knowledge, exchange their ideas, and expand their networks.
