In a dazzling display of eloquence and argumentative prowess, the MUIC Debate Dragons emerged triumphant at the highly competitive Anglo Debating Tournament at Anglo Singapore International School, securing the 3rd Best Team Overall.

The competition, held on January 20 – 21,  2024, brought together some of the most talented debating teams from across the country. Still, the MUIC Debate Dragons distinguished themselves with their exceptional skills and compelling arguments.

The MUIC Debate Dragons, consisting of Ibrahim Dawoodjee, Patsha Ha, and Krittiya Sagaekhao represented Mahidol University International College (MUIC) and showcased their dedication to the art of debate as they navigated through challenging topics and fierce competition. Their cohesive teamwork, strategic thinking, and persuasive communication skills caught the attention of both judges and spectators alike. Additionally, Tate Lee was given the prestigious opportunity to be the Chairman of the adjudication panel for the grand finals, highlighting and showcasing new perspectives.

The MUIC Debate Dragons expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in another tournament within the Thai circuit. They credited their success to rigorous preparation, collaborative effort, and a passion for constructive discourse. As they bask in the glory of their accomplishments, the MUIC Debate Dragons are now setting their sights on future tournaments, eager to continue making waves in the world of competitive debating.
