MUIC Holds Orientation for 300 Exchange and Visiting Students

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) welcomed 300 inbound exchange and visiting students who enrolled in Trimester 1, AY 2024-25 and gave them an orientation on MUIC policies along with useful tips on living in Thailand on September 11-12, 2024 at A556 Spectrum Screening Space, Aditayathorn Building, MUIC

The foreign students hailed from different nationalities including American, Australian, Austrian, British, Cambodian, Canadian, Chinese, Dutch, Filipino, Finish, French, German, Indian, Indonesian,

Irish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, Myanmar, New Zealand, Polish, Russian, Singaporean,

Slovenian, Spanish, Swiss, Thai, Tunisia.

Asst. Prof. Dale Konstanz, Associate Dean for International Affairs, gave the welcome speech

MUIC lecturers and staff members gave presentations that would be useful for the international students including MUIC’s academic policies and student services along with a crash course on Thai language and culture.

Afterwards, the students visited Nasatta Park in Ratchaburi province to see firsthand Thai culture and ecotourism. The orientation was organized by the Student Exchange Unit.
