Mahidol University International College (MUIC) officially launched its first Alumni Mentorship Program (mPACT) with a Mentor Orientation on August 31, 2025. Held at the Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building, the event prepared 22 MUIC alumni for their new role as mentors.
The orientation provided participants with a clear understanding of their responsibilities and a strong foundation for guiding student mentees. The day featured a series of insightful sessions, including:
• Opening Remarks by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chompunuch Pongjit, MUIC's Associate Dean for Educational Affairs
• An mPACT program overview by Ms. Wimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs
• A discussion on the challenges and benefits of mentorship led by Dr. Karin Boonlertvanich, President of Kamp Kasetsart Alumni Mentorship Program Engineering
• A panel discussion on mentoring experiences with two representatives: Ms. Piyanan Chotikuntanachai from the ChAMP Chulalongkorn Alumni Mentorship Program and Mr. Pakorn Jiemskultip from Kamp Kasetsart Alumni Mentorship Program Engineering
• A special session on the essence of mentorship delivered by Prof. Sakorn Suksriwong, DBA, founder of ChAMP Chulalongkorn Alumni Mentorship Program
MUIC also hosted an mPACT Open House on September 19, 2025, to further introduce the program to current students.
