MUIC Media Com Alumna’s Thesis Wins Film Award

A Media and Communication alumna of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) won the Wichitmatra Award at the Thai Short Film & Video Festival organized by the Thai Film Archive and Thai Film Foundation on December 28, 2021 for her thesis work, an animated documentary film.

Ms. Chalisa Trakarnkitvichit’s work, entitled "The Boogeyman: Who Killed Sherry Anne Duncan?" was entered when she was still a senior student at MUIC. It will be showcased along with the other winning films at the Thai Film Archive in Salaya, Nakhon Pathom province from December 31, 2021 to January 1, 2022. Her thesis supervisor was Dr. Jack Picone, a lecturer in the Media and Communication program.
