The Volunteer Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) brought student volunteers to Wat Tha Kaeo School in Huai Ngu, Chai Nat province in its latest iteration of the “7 Days Volunteer Camp” from December 18 to 24, 2024.

The goal of the volunteer camp was to help the community at the same time give the student volunteers the opportunity to work together and learn new skills and make a social contribution.

During the camp, the volunteers taught three subjects: science, English, and guidance, helping the children learn in fun and interactive ways. They also worked on improving the school by building wooden benches, repainting the playground to make it more colorful, and creating a BBL (Brain-Based Learning) area for the kids to learn and play.

The camp was not just about work—it was also about building connections. Volunteers were able to learn more about the local culture and traditions, making the experience even more special. With 38 students participating, the camp left a lasting impact on the school

and the community. It also gave the volunteers valuable experiences, new friendships, and wonderful memories.
