The MICE Student Chapter & MICE Start Up Program was organized by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) in order to produce young professionals to serve the rising demand in the meetings, incentives, conventions and exhibitions (MICE) sector in Thailand and abroad. Aside from these achievements, during the past academic year 2019-2020, students from the THM Division also won in two competitions in the MICE industry under Ajarn Sarinya’s mentorship.

The first competition was the ‘SITE Talk’ organized by the Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) during the Thailand MICE Forum. Students took part in this initiative as part of their training to be future leaders in the incentive travel industry. The 1st Prize winner was Ms. Kotchamon Katechoo, a 4th year student in IHM, receiving 10,000 Baht cash prize.

The other contest was the Future Leaders Forum (FLF 2019) at IT&CMA Asia 2019 organized by Thailand Incentive & Convention Association (TICA). Among the students from across the country who applied for this event, 60 were short-listed. Three winners were selected and will get a chance to compete in iMEX in Germany. One of the winners was Mr. Bordin Chinsukserm, a 2nd year student of the THM Division.
