Twenty members of Mahidol University International College’s Model United Nations Club (MUICMUN) attended the Sustainability Expo 2025 (SX2025) on September 26 and 29, 2025 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

Regarded as the largest and most influential sustainability exposition in the entirety of ASEAN, SX2025 bundled up various arrays of showcases and booths about technology and innovations under the drive for a sustainable world.

MUICMUN, along with other MUN clubs in the MUN Network Thailand, volunteered to serve as one of the many booth staff in the United Nations Pavilion Experience. A total of 20 participants composed of students, lecturers and staff members joined the MUICMUN trip.

MUN Clubs from various universities were tasked with informing the SX2025 participants about Model United Nations and its many benefits—including training in public speaking and diplomatic skills and learning about numerous global issues.

MUICMUN also gained more exposure and brought more attention to the importance of MUN while also maintaining a worthwhile relationship with the United Nations Thailand. MUICMUN expressed its appreciation of this year’s event as much as last year’s, and said it hopes to continue this tradition in the future.
