The Media and Communication Program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) achieved a significant milestone as it completed the 373rd ASEAN University Network-Quality Assurance (AUN-QA 4.0) assessment from January 29 to 31, 2024. This assessment, conducted at the International Program level, was hosted onsite at the MUIC Salaya campus.

Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kay Chuan, Chief Assessor, and Prof. Dr. Sok Uttara, the assessment team engaged with various stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive evaluation process. Discussions with key figures such as Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., MUIC Dean, and the SAR team members, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Wankwan Polachan, Dr. Nunnapan Puathanawat, and Dr. Supathida Kulvaparopas, provided invaluable insights into the college's landscape and the comprehensive offerings available to both students and academic staff.

Throughout the assessment period, the assessors conducted interviews with academic staff, support staff, students, alumni, and employers, while also touring the program's facilities to gain firsthand knowledge of the resources available to students.

The closing ceremony of the site visit, held on January 31, 2024, marked an important moment as Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Kay Chuan and Prof. Dr. Sok Uttara, presented their preliminary findings of the outcome. In addition to providing guidance and acknowledging key strengths, the assessment team offered valuable insights into areas for improvement for the Media and Communication Program.

This successful completion of the AUN-QA 4.0 assessment underscores the program's commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. It reflects the dedication of the faculty, staff, and stakeholders involved in shaping the program's academic journey.
