PC Student Wins 1st Runner-up at Bitkub Summit 2024

A future Mahidol University International College (MUIC) Finance student and current PC Level 4 student, Mr. Tharathep Tonghoom, secured the 1st Runner-up spot with his team at the Bitkub Summit 2024.

Mr. Tharathep, who is also a former PC Scholarship for Excellence awardee, competed with his team in the “Bitkub Blockathon 2024: Ignite The NEXT Gen Developers” competition at the Plenary Hall, Queen Sirikit National Convention Center on October 19, 2024.

The theme of the competition was “Bitkub Exchange Challenge: Build, Develop, and Propose Financial Innovation!” This event, held to showcase the next generation of developers, brought together some of the brightest minds in blockchain technology from across the country.

He played the role of project manager (or CEO) in the competition, steering the project execution and strategic direction. Mr. Tharathep and his team demonstrated exceptional solutions, financial innovations, leadership, and teamwork as they competed against other top-tier teams in a series of intense challenges. Their remarkable achievement not only highlights their hard work and dedication but also reinforces MUIC’s commitment to fostering innovation and excellence in cutting-edge technology fields through our students’ endeavors.
