Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Diving Club organized a Pool Session activity at BB Marine Yacht Charter and Scuba Diving in Bangkok on November 5-6, 2022.

It proved to be one of the most popular activities organized by the Diving Club with 40 students participating. Students who were interested in scuba diving and who might want to become scuba divers in the future in order to explore the ocean found this activity to be an eye-opener.

This exercise prepared the students for obtaining their scuba license. Through studying, practicing, and getting ready for real scuba diving in the ocean later on, students were able to gain a foundational set of scuba skills. Students learned the necessary skills in using real scuba equipment at the pool. Students also learned how to deal with emergency situations while underwater, such as how to regulate ear pressure, how to clear a mask, and how to share air with a buddy.
