Rakkaew Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized its first on-campus activity for the 3rd Trimester called “Smells Like Home: Handmade Soap” on May 10, 2023 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Ground Floor of Aditayathorn Building.

The 58 students who participated had an opportunity to learn how to make their own eco-friendly soap starting with choosing herbal powders, fragrances, and colors to match their preferences. Then, participants poured glycerin soap base in the container and mixing all ingredients together until it became well-mixed. Lastly, they waited for 15 to 30 minutes for the soap to fully set. Every participant received 2 AT hours under environmental literacy.

The club said, “The aim of this activity is to acquire knowledge and skills on making certain products that can be used as gifts or even to generate income. We hope this will benefit the participants.”
