Science Club Hosts Jeopardy Night

The Science Society Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted its first activity for Trimester 1/2021-2022 dubbed “Science Jeopardy Night!” on October 8, 2021.

There were 15 teams which competed with a total 43 participants:

Phimnaphang Leenasirimakul (Marketing), Peerasith Singtong (International Business), and Pornnutcha Jivasakapimas (International Business), members of IQ 180 team, won 1st Place, receiving the 600 Baht cash prize.

Mitzi Joyce Mayor (Biological Sciences), Prenapa Poobangkerphol (Biological Sciences), and Jetiya Kongamornpinyo (Biological Sciences), members of Hungry Nerds team, won 2nd Place, receiving the 450 Baht cash prize.

Kan-Anek Tantitayapong (Applied Mathematics), Chayapol Bunnag (Computer Science), and Panissa Watcharachin (International Studies and Languages), members of Depression Cubed team won the 3rd Place, receiving the 300 Baht cash prize.

Participants formed teams of 3 to compete in a Jeopardy-like game where each of the question category is a branch of science that is not well-known or commonly talked about.
