Students interested in making a perfume balm joined a workshop organized by the Science Society Club on October 22, 2025 at Aditayathorn Building.

The Science Society Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) hosted its first event for the semester–a personalized perfume balm activity–on October 22, 2025 at Aditayathorn Building's Ground Floor.

There were 61 students who participated in the process of making the base of the perfume balm from combining wax and coconut oil. The components, once melted with the help of the club’s staff, were mixed and left to cool down while participants picked from a variety of scents, including lavender, vanilla, rose, jasmine, and others. After adding in their preferred scent, students poured the perfume mixture into their chosen container for the final step of the process.

In just 10-15 minutes, students had their own perfume balm, made completely from scratch, and left the workshop with a better understanding of the science behind its making.
