Forget the tired old pick-up lines! The Science Society Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recently hosted an online competition with a unique twist – crafting the ultimate science-themed pick-up line on Instagram during February 10 - 16, 2024.

The event buzzed with laughter and creative energy as students channeled their inner scientist and comedian. One hopeful student, inspired by chemistry, declared, "You must be the acid to my litmus paper cuz every time I look at you I turn red." Another student, with a twinkle in their eye, used deep learning to their advantage: "A Deep Learning model trained on a million parameters could not even fully describe how cute you are."

This competition wasn't just about scoring points; it offered a creative way to engage with science and break the ice with a crush. The event proved that science can be more than just textbooks and formulas – it can be the perfect recipe for a little lighthearted flirting. Who knows, maybe the next scientific breakthrough won't be in a lab, but on the path to true love!
