The Class Committee (CMM) sophomores organized the Rubnong Workshop for P’Group on January 4 - 5, 2025 at the Ground Floor of MUIC’s Building 1. This workshop was a preparatory program designed to equip seniors (P’Group) with the necessary skills before officially welcoming the juniors (Nongnong) during the Rubnong Activity. It focused on improving leadership, performance, and event management skills to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for both seniors and juniors.

Key Workshop Sessions:

• MC Training – Helped P’Group develop confidence in public speaking, learn effective script delivery, and master crowd engagement techniques to keep the energy high during the event;

• Drumming Workshop – Focused on rhythm coordination, traditional drum beats, and synchronizing with chants to create an exciting atmosphere during the event;

• Dance & Choreography Training – Taught P’Group essential dance moves, group formations, and high-energy performances that will be used to hype up the juniors and enhance team spirit;

• Cheer & Chant Practice – Guided seniors in leading cheers, perfecting timing, and boosting morale through synchronized chants and interactive performances; and

• Leadership & Teamwork Training – Equipped P’Group with skills in guiding juniors, handling unexpected situations, and fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment.

These workshop sessions not only prepared seniors for their roles in the Rubnong Activity but also strengthened their confidence, coordination, and ability to work as a team. By participating in these sessions, P’Group members enhanced their event management skills while ensuring that the welcoming experience for Nongnong is meaningful, well-organized, and unforgettable.
