Taking Back Our Mental Health

Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Office of Student Affairs held an online event called “Taking Back Our Mental Health” on September 3, 2021 from 1:30 to 3:30 pm via Zoom.

The guest speaker of the event was Ms. Wachiraya Lertgrai, a psychologist at Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital, and a Biological Science alumna. There were approximately 220 participants.

This online session was hosted by Asst. Prof. Dr. Chayanant Hongfa, Associate Dean for Student Affairs.

Ms. Wachiraya divided the lecture into two main parts: communication and emotional control. During the session, the speaker shared her past experiences, techniques, and recommendations on how to keep ourselves mentally healthy during the pandemic. The session concluded with a question-and-answer session.

According to the Office of Student Affairs, the attendees learned new lessons, shared their ideas and experiences, and asked many questions. They gave a positive feedback to the event.
