The Tourism and Hospitality Management (THM) Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recently hosted a one-day experiential learning trip titled “A Day in Suphan Buri” to connect students with regional traditions and community-based commerce.

The excursion drew 41 participants to Suphan Buri province, focusing on environmental responsibility, sustainable community practices, and the preservation of local cultural heritage. Throughout the day, students engaged with community leaders and supported small independent businesses, gaining insight into how traditional practices intersect with sustainable tourism and modern regional tourism.

Beyond the educational curriculum, the event served as a collaborative networking platform. By traveling to multiple venues together, participants were able to share insights, discuss sustainable tourism practices, and build peer connections outside the classroom environment.
