Hey guys! This term we will be hosting three main activities. Our first activity is a critique of the Term.

You’re tasked with selecting a dystopian aspect of a story of choice to analyze in groups of 1-3. In 500-1,000 words, you must identify/describe the problem within your story’s dystopian setting/context as well as present possible, plausible solutions. Be sure to define and describe the dystopian and utopian counterparts of this chosen aspect as well.

You are given essentially the whole term to work on your submission, which is due in the 11th week on our club’s website (after an initial screening by the president or vice president of the club).

Prizes will be awarded in the 12th week to the 3 most up-voted pieces. You’re granted the opportunity to select your own prize.

Further details can be found on our FB page: https://www.facebook.com/102608424949481/posts/166621971881459/?sfnsn=mo

All club members (and MUIC students) are encouraged and welcomed to participate!
