The Volleyball Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) held “Weekly Practice Sessions” for its members every Friday from January 26 to March 29, 2024.

Though the location of the rehearsals was changed from MU Sport Building (โรงช้าง) to Naval Education Department, the feedback of the 32 participants remained positive since the new venue is not that far from the campus. Another advantage was that there were two courts available, thus giving more opportunities for the students to play and practice.

The clubs said it is proud to have offered “Beginners Friendly Sessions” as its members were able to help newcomers. The club added that any interested MUIC student regardless of skill level is welcome to join the sessions and thus help improve their volleyball skills.

For the upcoming sessions, the club decided to organize its activities at the Naval Education Department again due to the participants’ responses. There will also be more drills to make the practice more interesting and helpful for the 3rd trimester.

Swimming, Cycling, and Running Toward a Quiet Mind

On August 22, 2026, I completed my first IRONMAN triathlon in Tallinn, Estonia: a 3.8 km swim, a 180 km bike ride, and a 42.2 km marathon. It took me 11 hours and 35 minutes. While one of the perks of finishing an IRONMAN is the right to brag, that isn’t the point of this post. The point is that MUIC supported me in achieving this personal goal through the 40th Anniversary Academic Changemakers Scholarship.
