The Volunteer Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized a volunteer camp entitled, “Volor Color” on Tuesday, 9th April 2024 at Wat Sathian Rattanaram School, Nakhon Chai-Sri, Nakhon Pathom province.

An off-campus activity that is usually held at the end of the 2nd Trimester, the camp offered the 30 volunteers the chance to help the school through painting of the playground and badminton court along with conducting Brain Based Learning (BBL) for the young pupils.

The club said the success of the camp was not only measured in the physical improvements to the school but also in the MUIC students’ acquisition of essential soft and hard skills. Teamwork, leadership, creativity, and communication were highlighted as key areas where participants saw personal and collective growth.

The Volunteer Club received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both the local community and participants prompted by their enjoyment of the activities and the value of the friendship they had made during the camp.
