“Vol Karn Chang” or “Vol การช่าง” was an off-campus construction camp organized by Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Volunteer Club and held on April 6, 2025, at Ban Klong Yang School in Nakhon Pathom province.

The activity was designed to create a better learning environment for children in the less- fortunate communities in Thailand. The 25 participating MUIC students had the opportunity to create colorful artwork and infrastructure improvement for the school children at the designated school.

These activities included Brain-Based Learning (BBL) drawing, wall painting, and classroom renovation, where participants were able to freely choose which one to work on.

Through this activity, the MUIC students were able to enhance their skills in communication, imagination, leadership, and civic responsibilities. Furthermore, the organizing committee as well as the participants managed to provide a better educational environment for children in the rural areas as a step towards an equitable global education.
