What’s Your Favorite Book?

The Sigma Club of Mahidol International College (MUIC) held its first activity of Trimester 1/2021–22 entitled “Book Pitch: What’s Your Favorite Book?” which took place from September 17 to October 1, 2021.

This online activity asked the participants to choose a book they have read and post a review of it on their social media account. The review contained the participants’ favorite part of the book, a brief critique, and any reflection they had after reading the book. Aside from the review, the participants also rated the book and tagged two of their friends. There was a total of 75 participants, and six of them were awarded according to their reviews.

Mr. Raymond Jegillos (Biological Science) and Ms. Irin Kortonglang (Intercultural Studies and Languages) won the “Best Critique” awards; Mr. Danuch Karnjanayothin (International Relations and Global Affairs) and Ms. Supapitch Ngamsangapong (Intercultural Studies and Languages) won the “Best Reflection” awards; and Ms. Nontiporn Hengprasert (International Relations and Global Affairs) and Mr. Ibrahim Dawoodjee (Biological Science) won the “Best presentation” awards.  Each award carried a 500 Baht cash prize.
