BA Division Invites Experts to Provide Insights on Publishing

The Business Administration (BA) Division hosted an insightful research talk featuring Prof. David Solnet from the University of Queensland and Dr. Maria Gulubovskaya from Griffith University on February 28, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The invitation was funded by Reinventing University Program, under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation.

The session aimed to guide young and mid-career researchers in navigating the path to publishing in high-quality academic journals. Drawing from his editorial experience in leading journals within Service Management and Hospitality disciplines, Prof. Solnet outlined key elements that editors seek in high-quality research. Meanwhile, Dr. Gulubovskaya emphasized the importance of research identity, encouraging scholars to reflect on their research philosophy and paradigms.

The talk fostered an engaging discussion, with attendees sharing experiences and exchanging ideas on their research journeys. The session provided valuable insights for researchers looking to refine their work and enhance their scholarly contributions.
