Dance Club Offers Hip-hop Workshop

The Dance Club of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) organized “The Dance Workshop #1” for basic hip-hop at Room 2302, MUIC Old Building, on May 21, 2024.

It was a fun and educational event tailored for dancers of all levels. Hosted by the renowned D Maniac Dance Studio, this workshop provided an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of hip-hop dance to the 27 participating students.

With experienced instructors leading the way, the session kicked off with a lively warm-up designed to get everyone energized and ready to move. Participants then learned key hip-hop techniques such as popping and locking, all taught step-by-step to ensure everyone could follow along.

The workshop emphasized rhythm, coordination, and self-expression, making it a holistic learning experience. Additionally, dancers had the opportunity to learn some cool choreography and practice in a supportive and enjoyable environment. By the end of the workshop, participants felt more confident in their hip-hop skills and possessed a solid foundation to build upon.
