Hundreds Run in MUIC’s “Relax Rerun Reunion 2025″

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) successfully held the “Relax Rerun Reunion 2025” running event in the early morning of January 19, 2025 at Mahidol University’s Salaya campus.

Prof. Dr. Woraphong Manuskiatti, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Services, Mahidol University, presided over the opening ceremony of “Relax Rerun Reunion 2025” while Ms. Wimonsiri Hemtanon, Associate Dean for Student Affairs, MUIC, presented the sport event’s objectives.

“Relax Rerun Reunion 2025” which was organized by MUIC in collaboration with the MUIC Alumni Association, attracted more than 800 participants. One of the objectives of the event, which ran from 4:45 am to 9:00 am, was to provide participants, who may feel exhausted from work or studies, an opportunity to relax through running and engaging in stress-relief activities organized during the event.

Additionally, a donation of 100,000 Baht was presented to support the construction of the in-patient building at the Golden Jubilee Medical Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University.

On this occasion, several distinguished individuals graced the event, including Assoc. Prof. Teera Kolladarungkri, Director of Golden Jubilee Medical Center; Dr. Laddawan Jianvittayakit, Associate Dean for Environment and Sustainable Development, MUIC; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communications and Information Technology, MUIC; Asst. Prof. Dr. Ruchi Agarwal, Assistant Dean for Educational Affairs, MUIC; and Mr. Kanapat Chalermpanth, President of the MUIC Alumni Association. Also in attendance were administrators, faculty members, staff, students, and members of the general public. The event featured various stress-relief activities for participants, including sponsor booths and a commemorative photo booth for capturing memories of the event.
