MUIC Signs MOU with 34 Leading Thai High Schools

Mahidol University International College (MUIC) recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with more than 34 leading high schools in Thailand for the MUIC Excellence Entrance Track (MEET) Program for academic year 2022-2023.

In a ceremony held on April 1, 2022 at Charinyarasami Hall, Aditayathorn Building, Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, MD, MUIC Dean, signed on behalf of the College. Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Chanchai Phonthanukitithaworn, Associate Dean for Corporate Communication and Information Technology, gave a presentation about the MEET Program.

Under the MEET Program, MUIC selected 34 Thai high schools which will be granted an admission quota for their students who qualify for the College’s English skill requirements. The memorandum also allows for English skills development opportunities and other projects in the future.

The project aims to support educational opportunities for under-resourced schools in provincial areas by donating lecture chairs and office equipment to enhance teaching and learning activities.
