MUIC’s Preparation Center for Languages and Mathematics (PC) recently completed the 2024 annual review to retain the Quality Endorsement for English language centers from NEAS Australia. The program originally received a NEAS Quality Endorsement in March of 2019, and PC continues to be the only English language center in Thailand with this qualification. This helps PC to maintain its position as a clear leader in English language teaching and learning in Thailand and the rest of Southeast Asia. The NEAS Quality Endorsement covers both the General English and English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses at PC.
On April 23, 2024, the NEAS Quality Assessor held meetings and focus groups with the PC Director, Assistant Director, staff members, numerous instructors, and students representing various levels. The Quality Assessor was impressed with the program’s continued utilization of the Google for Education sites, apps, and features, as well as assessments given through Exam.net. She also commended the program for the weekly academic support sessions offered by each instructor and the one-on-one academic counseling provided to students during classes each term.
