In anticipation of Valentine's Day, the Science Society Club hosted on February 13, 2023 the “Science Movie Night” as a fun activity to spend quality time with their friends and loved ones.

“The Imitation Game,” a biography of scientist Alan Turing, served as the featured film for the evening. The club said the screening of the bio-pic was meant to prompt appreciation of the discoveries of Alan Turing which comprise a major part of the way we live today as well as share kindness and love towards individuals who are less fortunate than us.

The club said it was able to raise a total of 2,500 Baht from tickets and snacks sales and donated it to Vejdusit Foundation of Bangkok Hospital.

The Science Society Club expressed its thanks to the 23 attendees for supporting the event. It promised to come up with more activities in the future that would be both entertaining and educational.

“Stay tuned for more information regarding our activities!”
