Tourism and Hospitality Management Division (THM), Mahidol University International College (MUIC)conducted the interactive workshop with key representatives from Phuket Tourist Association (PTA) to update on current and future trends of Thailand's tourism industry, using the successful showcase of Phuket Sandbox. THM received the honour from key PTA's leaders: Khun Bhummikitti Ruktaengam, Former President of PTA, Khun Thanawat Ongcharoen, Vice President of Administration and Strategy, and Khun Thaneth Tantipiriyakit, the current PTA's President who shared with us their fascinating and valuable insights on footsteps of Phuket Sandbox, the country's reopening pioneer. The workshop also provides the opportunity for THM faculty members to exchange ideas, take notes on required important skills & competencies required for future graduates, and how the THM division can support the future growth of Thailand's tourism industry during the COVID-19 recovery period.
