Mahidol University International College’s (MUIC) Diving Club celebrated World Oceans Day on June 8 - 23, 2023 by asking 20 participants to post on their Instagram accounts photos of the sea or ocean that they themselves had taken along with a caption that they had written.

The club said that this activity aimed to emphasize the significant difficulties that occur in the ocean including climate change, overfishing, and sustainable seafood production.

It added that it wants to increase public understanding of the essential function that the ocean plays in our lives and the many ways individuals may contribute to its protection.
