Food Science and Technology Students Visit Food Factory in Rayong

The Food Science and Technology (FST) Program of Mahidol University International College (MUIC) received an invitation to visit the factory of Yamamori (Thailand) Co., Ltd., a Japanese food manufacturer, on March 7, 2025 in the Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate, Rayong Province.

The invitation followed Yamamori’s acceptance of interns from Mie University, Japan, and aimed to provide Thai students with an opportunity to tour the factory and engage in discussions with their Japanese counterparts.

Accepting the invitation, Asst. Prof. Dr. Peter Kurdi, FST Program Director, and six FST students visited the company, where they participated in insightful academic and cultural exchanges through group discussions and a factory tour. This experience broadened the students’ understanding of global perspectives in food science, technology, and cultural preservation while fostering professional networking and development.
