How BBA Made Us Better Students

Four students from the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program were asked to enumerate the three factors that made them better students.

Here are their answers:

Mr. Wuttipat Pensawang
Business Economics Student

  1. “The flexibility of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program allows me to be exposed to various fields in business and not be limited to only my field of study. These varied courses help me become a well-rounded and flexible student and they prepare me for working in a globalized world.”
  1. “The program has enhanced my leadership, communication as well as collaboration skills. It allows me to express my opinion effectively, thoughtfully, and respectfully with other students. “
  2. “Many courses in the program have strengthened my critical thinking in several ways. Attending these courses helped me approach a hypothetical business problem more systematically and analytically in which I was able to identify patterns, think strategically about possible solutions, and evaluate potential solutions to the problem.”

Ms. Konami Ono
International Business Student

  1. “MUIC is AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)-certified, demonstrating MUIC’s commitment to continuous development in the BBA program, which offers high-quality business courses.”
  1. “The International Business major trains its students on operating a business in various markets worldwide. Its core business subjects allow students to develop soft skills such as collaboration, communication and public-speaking skills.”
  2. “The curriculum allows the students to explore and apply the class theories into real-world case studies. In many classes, students are required to conduct interviews with officials of actual companies and make an analysis based on the theories learned in class. These experiences make students develop critical problem-solving skills and analytical skills. “

Ms. Natthanicha Laohasarn
Marketing Student

  1. “The BBA program at MUIC offers a comprehensive and in-depth curriculum that gives students a broad understanding of fundamental business concepts while allowing them to specialize in their chosen major. As a Marketing student, I benefit from a curriculum that covers essential marketing theories and applies these concepts through practical projects and case studies.”
  1. “One of the most valuable aspects of the program is the integration of courses that foster skill development across various business disciplines, regardless of a student’s specific major. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that students graduate with a well-rounded skill set that prepares them to navigate the complexities of today’s interconnected business world.”
  2. “A defining feature of the BBA program is its commitment to experiential learning, which emphasizes hands-on practice and real-world application of theoretical knowledge. This approach has been instrumental in helping me develop practical skills and confidence in my abilities as a Marketing student.”

Mr. Thanut Sonthisawadht
Finance Student

  1. “The CFA University Affiliation Program within the BBA program offers a robust academic curriculum, embedding 70% of the CFA® Program Candidate Body of Knowledge. This alignment ensures that students are well-prepared with the relevant financial knowledge needed for careers in the investment and finance industries.”
  1. “The program has also been pivotal in honing my public speaking abilities. Presentations are an integral part of the curriculum, encouraging students to convey their ideas clearly and confidently.”
  2. “The BBA program has provided immense support for my growth outside the classroom. The Case Club, in particular, has played a key role in developing my leadership abilities. Through this club, I was able to apply the knowledge I gained in class to real-world situations, broadening my perspective and enhancing my problem-solving skills.”

These students are indeed fortunate to be receiving a well-rounded education in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program.

If you dream of starting your own business or be a successful company manager someday, enrolling in the any of the four majors of MUIC’s BBA Program should be the next step you should consider taking.
