On the 1st December 2022, a total of 28 MUIC students from all majors attended a speaker event hosted by Mahidol Blockchain Club at Room A519, Aditayathorn Building

The speaker was Dr. Aman Saggu who is an expert in Cryptocurrency and Bitcoin.

This event was suitable for complete beginners with no knowledge about the topic. The goal of this event was to introduce students to the fundamentals of blockchains and cryptocurrencies in a structured manner. This event was entirely focused on blockchains and cryptocurrencies from start to finish, with no irrelevant diversions or tangents. It would devote the entire two hours (or possibly longer) to the actual topic. By the end of the event, students should be able to confidently explain the main principles and innovations that blockchains provide, as well as explain the main aspects of cryptocurrencies to employers. If students are asked, "What do you think about blockchains?" they will be able to provide a sensible response without being caught off guard. They should also be able to navigate complex orderbooks on exchanges and use trading platforms in real life. They will also learn how to invest safely, responsibly and wisely, as well as about career opportunities in the field.
