MUIC Alumnus Wins 1st Place in MEiD Hackathon

An alumnus of Mahidol University International College (MUIC), Mr. Phuwarat Norchoovech (Computer Science, Class of 2008) won with his team UpPass the 1st Place in MEiD Hackathon: Digital ID Solution for All in their innovationNo-Code Verification Onboarding Platform” at the Auditorium, KX - Knowledge Exchange for Innovation, on February 7, 2022.

Mr. Phuwarat and his team received a cash prize of 250,000 Baht with plaque and certificate.

His team’s entry and platform will be built on Digital Service Sandbox by Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA ).

Mr. Phuwarat is a Co-founder and Chief Product and Data Officer of Credit OK, a fintech startup that extends capital to micro-entrepreneurs in Southeast Asia.
