Representatives from Mahidol University International College (MUIC) participated in International E-Waste Day on October 14, 2025. The event, which had the theme, “Signal of Sustainable Future: Extending the Life of the Earth,” was organized by Advanced Info Service Public Company Limited (AIS).

AIS SIAM customers and partners were invited to join the “Let’s Drop E-Waste” campaign, which aims to raise public awareness on the importance of proper electronic waste disposal. Participants also took group photos to symbolize the collaborative efforts and shared commitment among all organizations involved.

To date, AIS and its partners have successfully collected and processed 1,212,272 pieces of electronic waste through proper management systems. This initiative has helped “extend the life of the Earth” by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by more than 556,573 kilograms of CO₂ equivalent, which is comparable to planting 46,380 trees.

It is hoped that in the future, Thailand will achieve more concrete and sustainable e-waste management practices, driving behavioral change among citizens and promoting an efficient recycling culture that minimizes environmental impact and enhances the quality of life. The college recognizes the importance of this and has established an e-waste collection point for proper disposal within the project
